Cardinals - 13 vs. Reds – 7
It was a very cold day for the first game of the Little League season played between the Cardinals and Reds. Paul White served as the Cardinal’s lead pitcher. In the first inning, the Reds scored three runs. Miles Reynolds hit a 2 run homerun down the right baseline. Zach Branch initially walked, then stole 2 bases and scored on a base hit from the Reds to left field. After these scores, Paul White stuck out the remaining Reds players.
Kenny Hines served as the Reds’ lead pitcher. Lester-Malik Larry started off with a base hit. Lev Gray then hit a single, but the Reds threw out Lester-Malik Larry at second base. Paul White then delivered a long hit to left field for a 2 run homerun making the score 3 to 2, Reds. Max Brown hit a single and proceeded to steal 2 bases to get to 3rd. I’mad Gordon delivered a single and a RBI tying the game, 3 to 3. I’mad then stole 2 bases to get to 3rd base at which point Rasheed Harris hit a long 2 run homerun to left field. The score was now 5 to 3, Cardinals. Armani Procter then delivers a right field homerun to score 6 to 3, Cardinals. Kenny Hines then struck out the remaining Cardinals players.
In the second inning, Paul White struck out all three of the Reds players with the score at 6 to 3, Cardinals. In the second inning, Miles Reynolds, Reds took the pitcher’s mound. After one fly out, Lev Gray walked to first and eventually ran home on an overthrow with a score of 7 to 3, Cardinals. Max Brown walked to first, followed by I’mad Gordon who hit a 2 run homerun down the first base line. The score was 9 to 3, Cardinals. Rasheed Harris followed with a centerfield single and stole 2nd base. Armani Procter got a RBI with a triple allowing Rasheed Harris to lead 10 to 3 over the Reds. Armani Procter tried to steal home and was thrown out at home plate.
In the third inning, Miles Reynolds drilled a homerun to centerfield scoring 10 to 4, Cardinals. In this inning, Reds Zach Branch scored after hitting a double leaving the score 10 to 5, Cardinals. With the bases loaded, Paul White struck out the Reds players to finish the inning. Miles Reynolds returned to the pitcher’s mound when Lester-Malik Larry hit a homerun making the score 11 to 5, Cardinals. Lev Gray walked to first when Paul White hit a triple. As base runner, Lester-Malik Larry scored with a close throw at home by the Reds. The score was now 12 to 5. The next three Cardinals players walked which scored another run, 13 to 5 Cardinals.
In the fourth inning, Ray Hawkins pitched for the Cardinals and the Reds scored 2 runs making the score 13 to 7. Ray Hawkins struck out the remaining Reds players. In the bottom of the 4th, Zach Branch struck out 2 Cardinals players after an in-field out at 1st base. Ray Hawkins, Cardinals returned to the mound in the fifth inning and locked in the final score, 13 to 7 – Cardinals win the first game over the Reds to begin the Little League season.

Cardinals – 7 vs. White Sox – 4
The Cardinals started the game with Max Hornung pitching for the White Sox. Lester-Malik Larry delivered a single and then stole home on an overthrow with a score, 1-0 Cardinals. Rasheed Harris began as Cardinal’s pitcher leaving the White Sox players on base with no scores in the first inning.
Max Brown started off the Cardinals in the 2nd inning against Max Hornung, Reds pitcher by hitting a double down the first base line. Max then stole 3rd base. Six subsequent Cardinal players walked which left a score of 5 to 0, Cardinals. The final runner, I’mad Gordon stole home with a slide leaving the inning with a score of 6 to 0, Cardinals. In the bottom of the second, with Rasheed Harris as Cardinal’s pitcher, Stephan Spencer, White Sox stole home on an overthrow to 3rd base leaving the score 6 to 1, Cardinals.
In the third inning, Stephan Spencer struck out all three Cardinal batters. Paul White relieved Rasheed Harris to pitch for the Cardinals. The White Sox scored 3 runs before Paul White struck out the remaining White Sox players leaving a score of 6 to 4, Cardinals.
In the fourth inning, Lester-Malik Larry began with a hit to centerfield against Stephan Spencer, White Sox pitcher. With an overthrow at third base, Lester-Malik Larry ran home to score, 7 to 4 Cardinals. Paul White struck out all three of the White Sox players with the score at 7 to 4, Cardinals.
Stephan Spencer pitched the fifth inning for the White Sox and Max Brown hit a single, stole 2nd base and was thrown out at 3rd base after attempting a steal. In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Cardinals played great defense with a catch by Ray Hawkins at first base. Paul White struck out the remaining White Sox players with the score 7 to 4, Cardinals. No scores for the Cardinals in the top of the sixth. Armond Proctor closed out the game as the Cardinals’ pitcher with three outs - one great catch for a long hit in centerfield. Final score for the Cardinals, 7 to 4 win!

Cardinals – 20 vs. Tigers – 4
With Erik Randall, Tigers pitcher, the Cardinals started the game with a walk by I’mad Gordon. Armond Procter hit a triple to left field with a RBI score of 1 to 0, Cardinals. Paul White earned a single and RBI score of 2 to 0, Cardinals. Paul White stole 2nd base and 3rd base on an overthrow. Ray Hawkins delivered a triple with a RBI for 3 to 0, Cardinals. In the bottom of the 1st, Armond Proctor, Cardinals pitcher stepped to the mound. Due to the Cardinals in-field defensive plays, the Tigers were out of the first inning, 3 to 0 Cardinals.
Amari Gibson walked in the top of the 2nd inning and stole 2 bases. I’mad Gordon beat out a throw at 1st base and stole 2nd base with Amari Gibson scoring, 4 to 0, Cardinals. Rasheed Harris hit a single and with an overthrow at 1st base, both I’mad Gordon and Armond Proctor scored, 6 to 0 Cardinals.
In the third inning, Erik Randall walked against Cardinals pitcher, Armond Proctor. Erik Randall, Tigers stole to get on 3rd base and scored on a single, 6 to 1 Cardinals. Armond Proctor struck out the remaining Tigers players. Lev Gray started off the bottom of the third inning with a single. Four subsequent Cardinals players walked which allowed Lev Gray and Tim Robertson to score, 8 to 1 Cardinals. With a new Tigers’ pitcher, Rasheed Harris hit a double down the 3rd base line with 2 Cardinals players scoring, Amari Gibson and I’mad Gordon, 10 to 1 Cardinals. With Rasheed Harris and Paul White on base, Ray Hawkins hit a single between first and second allowing for a 2 run RBI, 12 to 1 Cardinals. With bases loaded, the Tigers’ pitcher struck out the remaining Cardinals players. In the bottom of the third, Armani Proctor served as Cardinals’ pitcher. The Tigers got one score from a single RBI, 12 to 2 Cardinals.
In the top of the fourth, the Tigers’ pitcher held the Cardinals to three outs, 12 to 2 Cardinals. In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Tigers earned a single RBI with bases loaded, 12 to 3 Tigers. Subsequently, the Tigers earned one run on a walk, 12 to 4 Tigers.
In the fifth inning, Ray Hawkins hit a triple to centerfield. Lev Gray hit a single and Ray Hawkins scores, 13 to 4 Cardinals. Max Brown hit a single, stole 2nd base and Lev Gray scores on an overthrow to home, 14 to 4 Cardinals. Max Brown steals 3rd base and subsequent batters are walked with bases loaded. Max Brown then steals home, 15 to 4 Cardinals. Rasheed Harris walks and Amari Gibson scores with bases loaded, 16 to 4, Cardinals. Paul White knocks a homerun to left field to bring in all runners, 20 to 4 Cardinals. The Cardinals hold the Tigers to a scoreless fifth inning. This leaves the final score, 20 to 4, Cardinals win!

Once again, the bats were hot for the LL Tigers
in their win over the LL Reds 13-5. Pitcher Charlie Thompson managed to
hold the Reds scoreless after the first 2 innings. Reliever Logan Crowl
making only his second appearance to the mound in 2 years also managed to shut
down the bats of the Reds. Special mentions go out to multiple base
stealers Lamar Colon, Erik Randall and Tyler Perdue. Triple and or home
run titles for the game go to Sam Curry, Logan Crowl and Michael Baker.

Cardinals – 16 versus Marlins – 2
The Cardinals started the 1st inning with a single by I’mad Gordon against the Marlins pitcher, Charles Rix. Rasheed Harris followed with another single but as I’mad Gordon slid into second base, he was thrown out by the Marlins. Armond Proctor walked and Max Brown delivered a double with 2 RBIs for the Cardinals, 2 runs by Rasheed Harris and Armond Proctor. Ray Hawkins then delivered a double allowing Max Brown to score, 3 runs for the Cardinals.
Ray Hawkins served as the Cardinals opening pitcher. Kaylon Alston of the Marlins served up a single and advanced to 3rd base on an overthrow. The Marlins subsequently stole home with a score, 3 to 1 Cardinals.
Bats got hot in the second inning! Amari Gibson got on first base after a walk by the Marlins. She then stole second and I’mad Gordon hit a single. Rasheed Harris delivered a single with 2 RBIs making the score 5 to 1, Cardinals. Armond Proctor then got a single. Paul White delivered a long hit to left field allowing 2 RBIs to score, 7 to 1 Cardinals. Max Brown delivered a single allowing Paul White to score, 8 to 1 Cardinals. Max Brown advanced bases by stealing 2nd and 3rd. Lev Gray then hit a long drive resulting in a triple by sliding into 3rd base with 1 RBI by Max Brown, 9 to 1 Cardinals.
There was impressive pitching in the third inning when Ray Hawkins delivered 3 strike outs. Charles Rix, Marlins pitcher followed with 3 strike outs of the Cardinals in the top of the 4th inning. Ray Hawkins continued throwing heat with 3 strike outs to close out the bottom of the 4th inning, 9 to 1 Cardinals.
In the fifth inning, bats were swinging by the Cardinals! With Armond Proctor on base due to a walk, Paul White delivered a home run making the score 11 to 1, Cardinals. Ray Hawkins hit a single to centerfield and advanced by stealing both 2nd and 3rd base. Armani Proctor delivered a triple allowing Ray Hawkins and Tim Robertson to score, 13 to 1 Cardinals. The next 5 Cardinals players walked allowing 3 players to score, 16 to 1 Cardinals. The Marlins changed pitchers, James Bormes finished the inning by throwing the Cardinals out at home, 16 to 1 Cardinals. To finish the game in the top of the 6th inning, the Marlins delivered a single and a double allowing 1 RBI with final score – 16 to 2 Cardinals.

LL Tigers 18 vs. LL Marlins 2
Congrats to the LL Tigers on their victory over the LL Marlins 18-2 on May
21st. Hot bats for this game included Devin Lockett, Sam Curry, Tyler
Perdue and Logan Crowl who made excellent contact resulting in doubles during
the game. Base stealing victories go out to Devin Lockett, Michael Baker,
Same Curry and Tyler Perdue.
Cardinals – 6 versus White Sox - 10
It was an anticipated re-match between the Cardinals and the White Sox. Rasheed Harris, Cardinals lead pitcher began the game with the White Sox scoring 4 runs. The Cardinals came back scoring 3 runs, 4 to 3, White Sox. The White Sox ended the top of the third inning with 2 runs, 6 to 3, White Sox.
In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Armani Proctor for the Cardinals walked and stole 2nd base. Lester Malik-Larry delivered a long hit into the outfield and scored a home run with a close throw by the White Sox, 6 to 5 White Sox.
With a close game, the White Sox started the fourth inning with a triple and one player walked. With an attempt to get the runner out at 3rd base, the White Sox scored, 7 to 5 White Sox. The White Sox went on to score 2 additional runs as the Cardinals attempted to get runners out at 1st base and home, 9 to 5 White Sox. A double from the White Sox brought an additional RBI to close out the inning, 10 to 5, White Sox.
It looked like a rally in the bottom of the fifth inning when Paul White hit a double and Max Brown followed with a double and a RBI, 10 to 6 White Sox. Paul White served as the Cardinals pitcher in the top of the 6th inning delivering 3 strike outs, 10 to 6 White Sox. The Cardinals attempted to get a run in with Lester Malik-Larry who tried to steal home, however he was thrown out. I’mad Gordon kept it alive with a single, however, the game ended with the White Sox winning 10 to 6.

The Tigers pitcher, Charlie Thompson returned the favor with 3 outs in the bottom of the 1st inning. Paul White returned to the mound and delivered strike-outs leaving 2 Tiger runners on base in the top of the 2nd inning. The Tigers pitcher, Charlie Thompson threw strikes and got out the Cardinals in the bottom of the 2nd inning leaving both teams scoreless.
In the top of the 3rd inning, the Tigers had 2 runners on base, despite being hit by the ball, Lev Gray made a throw to 3rd base to get one runner out and one scored, 1 to 0 Tigers. Charlie Thompson held the Cardinals scoreless at the bottom of the 3rd inning. In the top of the 4th inning, the Tigers hit a home run with a close throw at home, 2 to 0 Tigers. In the bottom of the 4th inning, the Cardinals got it started with a single by Lester Malik-Larry. Tim Robertson then delivered a home run along the 1st base line to tie the score, 2 to 2. Armani Proctor kept it going with a single to centerfield. Max Brown made a long hit to centerfield with a RBI, 3 to 2 Cardinals.
In the top of the 5th inning, Armani Proctor served as the relief pitcher leaving the Tigers scoreless. Lester Malik-Larry got it started for the Cardinals in the bottom of the 5th inning with a single. I’mad Gordon delivered a home run, 5 to 2 Cardinals. Paul White delivered a triple but was left on base at the close of the 5th inning. Armani Proctor kept the Tigers scoreless in the top of the 6th inning with strike-outs and a final score, 5 to 2 Cardinals.

Charlie Rix pitched complete game victory with Marlins finally busting out of
Year long slump. Curtis Henderson and Kaylon Alston (3-4 hitters) keyed
victory with multiple hit games. James Bormes had two hits and Brandon
Riley deliverd a key two-out RBI hit. Overall team victory for first win
of the year.

Cardinals – 6 versus Marlins – 0
Armani Proctor started as pitcher for the Cardinals keeping the Marlins scoreless in the first inning. The Marlins, with lead pitcher Kaylon Alston, returned the favor after Rasheed Harris attempted to steal bases and was thrown out at home in the first inning. Armani Proctor returned to the pitcher’s mound and kept the Marlins from scoring in the top of the 2 nd inning. In the bottom of the 2 nd inning, Armani Proctor hit a single to get on base and proceeded to steal third on an overthrow by the Marlins. Two batters then walked, Lev Gray and Tim Robertson. Amari Gibson hit a solid single resulting in a RBI as Armani Proctor scores, 1 to 0 Cardinals.
In the top of the 3 rd inning, the Cardinals were successful in holding the Marlins scoreless. In the bottom of the 3 rd inning, Rasheed Harris delivered a double. I’mad Gordon came to the plate to hit a triple allowing Rasheed Harris to score, 2 to 0 Cardinals. Armani Proctor made a single which brought in I’mad Gordon, 3 to 0 Cardinals. In the 4 th inning, Armond Proctor served as pitcher for the Cardinals. Defensively, Rasheed Harris caught a Marlin player hit at short stop. The Marlins then got a single. The Marlins player on first base was able to steal 2 bases on an overthrow but on a final defensive throw by Paul White, 3 rd baseman to Lev Gray, catcher, the Marlins player was tagged out at home plate, 3 to 0 Cardinals.
In the bottom of the 4 th inning, Paul White got a single, stole 2 nd base but was called out in a slide attempting to steal 3 rd base. Tim Robertson then got on base with a walk. Sasha Ryan hit a single and Tim Robertson stole home, 4 to 0 Cardinals. Max Brown got a single and with an overthrow at first base, Sasha Ryan scores, 5 to 0 Cardinals. In the top of the 5 th, despite 2 hits by the Marlins, the Cardinals keep the score, 5 to 0 Cardinals. In the bottom of the 5 th inning, Lester Malik Larry hits a single and stole 2 nd base. Lev Gray delivers a single with a RBI as Lester Malik Larry scores, 6 to 0 Cardinals. Paul White delivers another single but the Marlins close the inning without any further runs. Lev Gray served as the Cardinals closing pitcher. The Cardinals win in a final score, 6 to 0 over the Marlins.

Cardinals – 14 versus Tigers – 5
With Tigers Charlie Thompson as pitcher, the Cardinals started the first inning with Lester Malik Larry who hit a single and then stole home on an overthrow, 1 to 0 Cardinals. I’mad Gordon then delivered a double by sliding into 2 nd base and subsequently stole 3 rd base. Paul White then slams a home run clearing the bases, 3 to 0 Cardinals. Subsequent Cardinals hitters, Armani Proctor and Max Brown both hit singles with the inning ending 3 to 0 Cardinals. With lead pitcher, Ray Hawkins, the Cardinals kept the Tigers scoreless in the bottom of the 1 st inning.
In the top of the 2 nd inning, Cardinals player, I’mad Gordon hit a double to bring in Amari Gibson, 4 to 0 Cardinals. In the bottom of the 2 nd inning, Paul White, 3 rd baseman tagged out the Tigers lead runner who was attempting to steal 3 rd base. The Tigers remained scoreless. In the top of the 3 rd inning, despite a double by Armani Proctor to centerfield, the Cardinals did not score, 4 to 0 Cardinals. In the 3 rd inning, Logan Crowl hit to centerfield and stole 2 nd base. Michael Baker then delivered a hit past first base allowing the Tigers to score, 4 to 1 Cardinals. Defensively, Lev Gray caught Lamar Colon’s long hit to centerfield to complete the inning, 4 to 1 Cardinals.
In the bottom of the 3 rd inning, Ray Hawkins hit a solid double to centerfield and stole 3 rd base. Lev Gray then walked and stole 2 nd base. Lester Malik Larry got a walk and Armond Proctor delivered a triple allowing 3 RBIs, 7 to 1 Cardinals. I’mad Gordon delivered a double while Armond Proctor scored, 8 to 1 Cardinals. Armani Proctor got a walk. Max Brown was out at first but the hit allowed I’mad Gordon to score, 9 to 1 Cardinals. Tim Robertson stepped to the mound for the Cardinals in the 4 th inning and kept the Tigers scoreless. In the bottom of the 4 th inning, the bats got hot! Ray Hawkins got to 1 st base on a fly ball dropped by the Tigers. Lester Malik Larry delivered a double allowing Ray Hawkins to score, 10 to 1 Cardinals. Armond Proctor hit a triple which brought in Lester Malik Larry, 11 to 1 Cardinals. I’mad Gordon hit a single bringing in Armond Proctor, 12 to 1 Cardinals. Armani Proctor got a single and stole 2 nd base. Max Brown hit a single allowing both Armani Proctor and I’mad Gordon to score, 14 to 1 Cardinals.
In the 5 th inning with Tim Robertson on the mound, the Tigers come back with a walk and stole 2 nd base. With a double, a run scores, 14 to 2 Cardinals. Michael Baker then delivered a double to allow another runner to score, 14 to 3 Cardinals. A subsequent double allowed two additional runs, 14 to 5 Tigers. Erik Randall hit a double but the Tigers runner got thrown out at home on a tag from Armond Proctor, Cardinals catcher. The final score, 14 to 5 Cardinals.

Cardinals – 6 versus White Sox – 4
With Stephan Spencer pitching for the White Sox, despite several walks and steals, the Cardinals were scoreless at the end of the 1 st inning. Rasheed Harris, Cardinals pitcher stepped to the mound and Max Hornung hit a single past 1 st base. A double from the White Sox brought in a run, 1 to 0 White Sox. However, based on the Cardinals defense, the inning ended with bases loaded and no subsequent runs. In the 2 nd inning, the White Sox kept the Cardinals scoreless. In the bottom of the 2 nd inning, Stephan Spencer hit a single but the White Sox runner at 2 nd base was out after a tag. Stephan Spencer proceeded to steal 2 nd and 3 rd with close calls on the throws by the Cardinals. The Cardinals threw to 2 nd base on a steal and missed on a close throw Meanwhile, Stephan Spencer ran home and the Cardinals missed the throw at home plate, 2 to 0 White Sox.
In the top of the 3 rd inning, despite walks and steals, the Cardinals were out of the inning without any runs, 2 to 0 White Sox. In the 3 rd inning, Max Hornung hit a triple and came home on a sacrifice hit to 1 st base, 3 to 0 White Sox. Daniel Klonowski then gets a home run on an infield hit based on an overthrow at 2 nd base by the Cardinals, 4 to 0 White Sox. In the 4 th inning, the Cardinals, with 3 walks and 2 steals, Ray Hawkins delivers a double resulting in 2 RBIs by Paul White and Armond Proctor, 4 to 2 White Sox. Based on an overthrow at 2 nd base, Armani Proctor scored, 4 to 3 White Sox. Rasheed Harris, pitcher kept the White Sox scoreless in the bottom of the 4 th inning, 4 to 3 White Sox.
In the 5 th inning, Max Horung as White Sox pitcher, the Cardinals get 4 walks allowing a tie score, 4 to 4. This time, Ray Hawkins delivers a triple allowing Paul White and Armond Proctor to score, 6 to 4 Cardinals. The remaining Cardinals players were thrown out at home by the White Sox to end the inning, 6 to 4 Cardinals. In the bottom of the 5 th inning, the White Sox attempted to resume the lead with several hits, however, with bases loaded, the Cardinals held the game to a final score, 6 to 4 Cardinals. What a great game!
